It’s a joke, and nothing more…
I just bought a vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with a remote start and car alarm system. The auto group i purchased the car from lost the key chain remote that controls the remote start etc. The problem is the vehicle was bought and sold 3rd party so the previous owner cannot be reached. My question is: Is there any way to figure out the brand or manufacture or anything so that i can get a new remote? Are there some kind of serial numbers or identification codes somewhere on my car? THere are some wires under the hood and a control box under the dash however nothing has any kind of company markings only some numbers which i dont know what they signify.
The vehicle was originally bought in Union, NJ and the previous owner lived in Maplewood, NJ if that has any meaning im not sure.
thanks for any and all help!
…thanks but that doesnt help. i looked and couldnt find anything on the black box. additionally, im not concerned about the alarm feature, i just really want to utilize the remote start feature
i looked again….there are two boxes. one is black and it has a bunch of numbers and some are FCC ID. there is also a second box that seems to be solid steel and is like bolted on as if to be burglar proof or something but it has no numbers or anything on it….does that help??? thanks for any ideas
Hi
The css setup for ever pages centering on our new website is the same, however on one particular page the background image is a slightly different width and height and it doesn’t seem to sit quite centrally as the others do.
www.pubblackboards.co.uk/test/manufacture.html
Also on this page the alignment of layers that make up the textual content work fine in IE and FF but not in Safari ?
Any help with both or either of these questions would be greatly appreciated.

It never ceases to amaze me how little democrats and liberals know about business.
First, businesses, and the oil industry is no exception, do not operate on a ‘not for profit’ basis. They have a responsibility to themselves and their stock holders to make a return on their investment.
Secondly, ALL taxes are a cost built into the prices of goods and services. They take all taxes and other manufacturing expenses into account when setting the price of their product. Then you and I pay that price. WE pay the tax.
As a result it is, in essence, the consumer that pays the tax. No company in the history of the world has EVER paid taxes to any government anywhere. It is the consumer that pays the tax. The business is merely a pass through.
So, every thousand dollar check that is received by the American people, is paid by the American people. You tax the oil companies $130 billion dollars, guess what will happen to the price? It will go up. The oil companies, like ALL companies, will meet their profit goals. Tax ‘em again? Guess what? Price goes up. It has to. It’s nearly a law of physics. But democrats and liberals have never understood this.
So, you still think it’s a good idea given the fact that that $130 billion dollar tax will be paid by you and me? Brilliant. And oh, so typical. I liked the tire gage idea better. It costs me so much less.
GAL: That’s brilliant! Saved it off to my favorites. Thanks.
OSCAR: In ten or twenty years you’re going to be complaining about the profits being made by ‘big windmill’. Face it. Businesses make a profit. Don’t like it? Don’t buy their product. But don’t expect them to give it to you for free.
Hes 59 years old. But Ric Flair should not have retired. He should have kept wrestling. Now that hes quit his job as WWE goodwill ambassador, TNA should hire him and put him back in the ring.
We can selfishly prattle on and on about Flair being a shell of his former self; how prolonging his career diminished his legacy; that its sad to see what the greatest wrestler ever had become.
But all thats nonsense. Flair isnt what he used to be, but hes still very good. And people want to see him, which is a lot more than most wrestlers can say. If TNA got Flair and turned him loose let him be himself, at length, on the microphone it could be, at the very least, a lot of fun. At a time when so many angles in wrestling are weakly manufactured surprises Mike Adamle (yawn) is Raw GM? And hes forcing Cena and Batista (snore) to team? having fun seems a good idea.
Not that TNA wouldnt screw it up badly, but I digress
Wrestling again would make Flair happy. At the time of the WrestleMania match against Shawn Michaels, Flair was heard to say that he thought he had two good years left. Who cares about diminished legacies? Wrestling has no real history unless you saved your old Observers.
If Flair wrestles until he dies, so what? Whos to judge? It wont mean his bouts with Ricky Steamboat in 1989 werent the greatest matches ever. It wont mean his Royal Rumble win in 1992 wasnt a 60-minute series of magnificent moments. It wont make me forget the Four Horsemen. This isnt Mickey Mantle screwing up his lifetime average. Wrestling is fake. A Flair comeback changes nothing.
Ive always suspected that Ric Flair needs to wrestle to be Ric Flair. And I know that Ric Flair needs to be Ric Flair to be happy. I care a lot about Ric Flair, the legend. I care more about Ric Flair, the man.
So, champget back in the ring. Youll never be worse than Billy Gunn.
Flairs split with WWE was reportedly amicable. But Flair wasnt used on camera when WWE did TV in his home state of North Carolina recently even though his new DVD just came out. People remember Flairs exit as being a lot better than it was because his Mania match with Michaels was awesome. But the buildup to Flairs finale was mostly limp, and it should be remembered than Vince McMahon gave Flair his due primarily because son-in-law Triple H pushed for it and because it got Hulk Hogans goat. Flair isnt a WWE creation. That was always bubbling just beneath the surface.
TNA could feud Flair with Angle. If done right, it could incorporate some of the elements of Flairs 1979 feud with Nature Boy Buddy Rogers. It could have a teacher-pupil feel.
Its just too bad Flair didnt stick around WWE long enough to benefit from the creative genius of Freddie Prinze Jr. To be the man, you gotta beat Chico and The Man. LOOKING GOOD!
TNA KINDA WANT FLAIR
